Our services include drug or explosives detection services to schools, private business, security companies, sporting events, community corrections, warehouses, energy companies, aircraft, ships, vehicles, factories, corporate and industrial environments, government facilities, etc. Our Drug Dogs:At Discreet Detection K-9 Services our drug dogs are certified to detect the odors of marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and guns. Our handlers and K-9 partners are certified yearly by the Global Training Academy in Somerset Texas. Their standards of training and certification are the same as the U.S. military. All of our dogs are very social and friendly. They are conditioned to search large areas for long periods of time. When our dogs find the odor they are trained to detect, they will go to the source of the odor, sit, and look at the handler. This is called a passive response. They do not bark or scratch at the odor. Our Explosives Detection Dogs:At Discreet Detection K-9 Services our bomb dogs are certified to detect 21 explosives odors. They are very social and friendly. Our handlers and K-9 partners are certified yearly by the Global Training Academy in Somerset Texas. Their standards of training and certification are the same as the U.S. military.
